Love Your Enemies

Pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in Heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. The Gospel announces that when we were sinners, rebels, enemies of God, the Father gave His Son to reconcile us back to God, restore us to sonship and raise us up as co-heirs with Jesus Christ. Even at the moment of His crucifixion, Jesus’ life was traded for Barabbas, a murderer and revolutionary. The Apostle Paul was a religious extremist who was behind the brutal hunting and killing of first-century Christians, until one day he encountered the Lord Jesus. So great was the revelation of Christ’s love for him that he later wrote about how he was “the chief of sinners,” and that everything he had worked for he considered to be “loss compared to the surpassing value of knowing Christ.” So deep was his repentance and great was his love for Jesus that he went on to be the Holy Spirit-inspired author of much of the New Testament and give his life as a martyr for Jesus.

What if Ananias didn’t pray for him? What if nobody was willing to reach out as the Spirit wanted to minister to this man with such a terrible reputation?

Southern Philippines

Tribal village in a conflict area in the Philippines.

In the conflict-torn, unreached tribal areas of the Southern Philippines, specifically parts of Mindanao and the Sulu Archipelago, we have found pockets of people who embody this Gospel of reconciliation like none we have ever met. They are ex-pirates, ex-rebels, ex-traffickers whose lives have become a living love letter from Jesus to the most unlikely recipients. More and more terrorists, jihadists, rebels and criminals among some of the least reached tribes in Southeast Asia are coming to Christ. The stories are too many to count, but they are of His kindness, protection, favor and power among the dangerous and unreached.

Our Part

We are beginning to partner alongside these heroes of the faith through:

  • Training indigenous believers in or near conflict areas to walk in the power and presence of Holy Spirit.

  • Providing trauma counseling for war survivors.

  • Humanitarian and development projects in the conflict areas and remote islands. We will release more information soon about the specific projects we are undertaking.

  • Pursuing relationship and collaboration between these like-minded, radical Jesus followers.

God is already on the move and we believe that by serving what He is doing we will see a great harvest among the unreached, and even those that nobody wants to reach out to.

The Needs

  • Intercession: For signs and wonders, favor on every side of conflicts, Holy Spirit guidance, provision, more workers, and protection.

  • Financial Partnership: For costs of frequent trips between Thailand and the Philippines, humanitarian projects. We immediately need an additional $1000/month for these causes and will release more information soon about the specific projects that are beginning.
