RELIEF

For millions of people around the world, this current era is a period of great crisis due to armed conflict, injustice, and natural disasters. We are joining hands with local churches and community leaders to bring desperately needed aid to those who are suffering. As Christ taught and exemplified, feeding the hungry, caring for the distressed, and standing with the oppressed are essential expressions the kingdom of God.

Myanmar is in civil war.

Since the military coup in 2021, Myanmar (Burma) has been plunged back into civil war. In many parts of the country, the situation continues to deteriorate. The UN estimates that over 18 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance, millions are currently displaced from their homes by the fighting, and thousands have been killed.

Since 2021, we’ve been working with local leaders to provide food, supplies, medicine, and education directly to those who are suffering.

I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink.
— Matthew 25:35

Direct access to the displaced.

We are working in partnership with local churches and networks that are in and from the conflict zone. They pass through monsoon-swollen rivers, firefights, minefields, and treacherous mountain trails to reach those who are most desperate. By collaborating with and resourcing them, we are able to bring life-saving food and supplies directly to those who are hiding in the jungles and caves while their communities become a battleground.

A new day is coming.

Serving those who face hunger and violence.

PAKISTAN

Christians in Pakistan are a small minority, comprising less than 2% of the population. They can face violent persecution, discrimination, lack of access to employment, rampant human rights abuses, and tremendous pressure to renounce their faith. There has been a recent increase in violence, as many churches and Christian homes have been attacked and burned, and some of our brothers and sisters have lost their lives for the sake of Christ.

Stand with the persecuted church.

An entire village turned to Christ. Then on Good Friday 2024, it was reduced to rubble by extremists. These men, women, and children were already victims of systemic injustice, being trapped in modern-day slavery. On this day, what little material things they had were taken away. They were left with no advocate.

They are not out of reach.

Part of our team was there within three days of the attack. Thanks to our international and local partners, we were able to work together to quickly provide tents and food for the entire village. There is so much more work to do.

Today, we are continuing to work to provide food for the hungry, education for the children, and walking towards freedom for enslaved and persecuted communities in Pakistan.

We are honored and grateful to walk with some of the heroes of the faith in Pakistan, sharing life and lending strength. To learn more about some of the other ways we stand with the persecuted church and reach the unreached, click here.
